My interests have always bridged the analytical and the expressive. I studied both computer science and English literature in college because I’m drawn to logic, but also to communication and connection. That duality shows up in everything I do. I love untangling complexity, but I also take pride in documenting solutions clearly so others can build on them. Running my own business sharpened my instincts for efficiency and impact. Whether I’m building a secure application or creating user-friendly documentation, I deliver precision with empathy.

Work History

Full Stack Developer, Freelance

July 2025-Present

Prototyping a blood pressure awareness app for a medical group. Using React and GraphQL, deploying on AWS Cloud. Using AI tools for higher productivity, and integrating LLM into the app.

Senior Front End Developer, Solar Turbines (contract)

January 2018-June 2025

Built enterprise Angular applications for Solar Turbines for monitoring gas turbine engines. Highlights include the “Value” app that helped the sales team secure major contracts, and leading a complex data privacy project for a mutli-national software team, including writing code, functional specs, and a user acceptance testing plan.

Co-founder, Studio West

2010-2017

Co-founder of Studio West, the largest recording studio in San Diego county. Launched a school, The Recording Arts Center (TRAC), that provides audio engineering professional training, with revenue growth from zero to $1.5M.

Technical Trainer, Andiamo Technologies

2005-2010

Created technical training for the semiconductor industry, most notably for a timing-focused microcontroller that catalyzed a niche market that continues to thrive two decades later.
